<p>The present invention relates to skin care compositions useful for improving the appearance of dry mammalian skin. These compositions comprise (A) skin active component comprising a hydrophobic, metal ion chelator and (B) a dermatologically acceptable carrier. The present invention also encompasses methods of improving the appearance of dry mammalian skin and methods of desquamating mammalian skin by treating dry mammalian skin with the skin care compositions described herein.</p> |
