A flameproof thermoplastic resin composition comprises a rubber-modified styrene resin, a phenolic resin, a hindered polyphenylene ether resin and a hindered aromatic phosphoric acid ester. A flameproof thermoplastic resin composition comprises: (A) 100 weight parts of a rubber-modified styrene-containing base resin composed of: (i) 20-100 wt.% of a styrene-containing graft copolymer resin; and (ii) 0-80 wt.% of a styrene-containing copolymer resin; (B) 5-40 parts of a phenolic resin; (C) 3-40 parts of a polyphenylene ether resin having a hindered phenol structure and (D) 5-30 parts of an aromatic phosphoric acid ester having a hindered phenol structure.
