<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform high-accuracy flow monitoring. SOLUTION: This earthquake-sensitive shutdown device has a flow measurement means provided for at least one of plural flow passages, flow passage opening/closing means 13 for freely changing the opening rate of each flow passage, and an opening/closing control means 18 which closes the flow passage by use of the flow passage opening/closing means 13 when a signal of a vibration detection means 16 for detecting the vibration of an earthquake or the like is determined to indicate an abnormal condition. Thus, a state in which flow rate is zero can be created by using the flow passage opening/closing means of the flow passage provided with the flow engaging means in adjusting and closing the flow passage. Since the measuring accuracy of the flow measuring means can be checked under the state in which the flow rate is zero, the accuracy of measuring the flow rate is always checked even if an abnormal condition occurs abruptly, and high-accuracy flow monitoring can be performed.</p> |
