LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lubricating oil compositions for internal combustion engines excellent in low-temperature flowability and excellent in fuel consumption saving and engine endurance. SOLUTION: Desired lubricating oil compositions for internal combustion engines comprise (A) 100 pts.wt. lubricating oil base oil comprising 1-25 wt.% lubricating oil base oil having a kinematic viscosity at 100 deg.C of 2.5-3.5 mm<2> /s and a pour point of not higher than -30 deg.C which is produced by catalytic dewaxing process and 75-99.5 wt.% lubricating oil base oil having a kinematic viscosity at 100 deg.C of 3.5-7.0 mm<2> /s, an aromatic content of 0-5 wt.% and a pour point of not higher than -15 deg.C which is produced by hydrocracking process and (B) an oil-soluble organomolybdenum compound having a content of molybdenum of 300-1,200 ppm selected from molybdenum dithiocarbamate and molybdenum dithiophosphate.
