PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange an intake system compactly in a V type two-cycle engine having a crank mechanism including a connecting rod in a same plane and a crank shaft for each bank cylinder. SOLUTION: Each crank mechanism of an upper crank shaft and a lower crank shaft disposed up and down is arranged in a same plane, an upper bank cylinder and an upper bank cylinder block 41 as well as a lower bank cylinder and a lower bank cylinder block 42 are respectively turned at a required angle by an angleθinvertedly in their outsides. Carburettors 28, 29 are connected to intake passages 43, 44 provided at the blocks 41, 42 respectively through intake pipes 47, 48, with balbe bodies 45, 46 interposed therebetween. Accordingly, the carburettors 28, 28 can be disposed in a V-shaped space without an interference.
