PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which prevents image defects such as image blur. SOLUTION: A controller 123 turns on an electromagnetic clutch 122a and starts the rotation of a registration roller 122 so that a recording medium reaches a transfer area 128 at the timing of the arrival of a developed image, formed on a photoreceptior drum 126, at the transfer area 128. During the transfer of the developed image to the recording medium, the electromagnetic clutch 122a is kept on and the rotation of the registration roller 122 is continued. The electromagnetic clutch 122a is turned off by the controller 123 so that the rotation of the registration roller 122 stops after the transfer of the developed image to the recording medium. |
