SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR POSTAGE ON NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print a postage stamp by requesting the certification of a transaction to a security device through a remote client computer except for an in- station client computer. SOLUTION: A network personal computer(PC) meter system 10 is provided with plural client PC 20 connected to a network server 30 and two of these client PC 20 are connected to the respective postage security devices(PSD) of the network PC meter system 10. In order to complete the transaction of a postage meter, the remote client computer except for each client PC 20 in a station requests the certification of postage payment to the PSD. Thus, the postage stamp can be printed while using a network.
