PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device and method by which the lightening of heavy oil and the flue gas treatment such as deNOx and deCOx, and decomposing removal of VOC can be performed by the same constitution in which plasma and an inorganic ion exchange body are combined and only a catalyst deposited on the inorganic ion exchange body is changed. SOLUTION: Relating to a heavy oil lightening/flue gas treating device constituted so that a reaction tank is arranged in a line in which gas to be treated flows and in the reaction tank, a zeolite honeycomb 1 consisting of an inorganic ion exchange body is installed to contact the gas to be treated with the zeolite honeycomb 1, line electrodes 3a and 3b covered with dielectric covering tubes 4 are inserted and arranged in circular openings 1a in such position relation that they become a pair of positive and negative poles, and between the line electrodes 3a, 3b, plasma is generated by applying high alternating voltage, allowing a catalyst 2 to be deposited on the zeolite honeycomb 1. |
