<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the necessity for taking any measure to shut off a fluid, shorten the working time to a great extent, prevent certainly the internal fluid from leaking outside, allow easy and safe execution of specified repairing works, and reduce the working costs. SOLUTION: A repairing device for plastic pipe comprises a two-split cylindrical fixing jig body 4 having an inside surface 2a curving along the peripheral surface of a plastic pipe 10 and arranged on the outside of a plate-form repair member 2 of plastics in such a way as covering the whole repair member 2 where a heater 3 is embedded on the side with inside surface 2a, a fixing/holding tool 5 whereby the jig body 4 is fixed to and held on the plastic pipe 10, and a ring-shaped seal member 9 which is equipped with a power supplying device to the heater 3 and generates tight attachment to the peripheral surface of the plastic pipe 10 where the periphery of the repair member 2 is wound fast to the inside surface of the jig body 4.</p> |
