<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for obtaining carbides by efficiently carrying out thermal decomposition of chlorine-containing plastics and a process for manufacturing cement using the resulting carbides. SOLUTION: A process for producing dechlorinated carbides by the thermal decomposition of chlorine-containing plastics comprises carrying out the thermal decomposition of the chlorine-containing plastics in a state mixed with cement clinker powder, and a process for producing cement comprises feeding the resulting carbides as part of fuels from a fuel feed zone for burning cement raw materials in the cement manufacturing plant equipment.</p> |
