PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to efficiently meet a service to provide desired information by providing plural receivers with storage means, transmission means and reception means and providing a host with a totalizing means, service selecting means and answering means. SOLUTION: In a service providing system 1, a service selecting host 2, a user terminal 3 and a provider 4 are connected by a network 15. The service selecting host 2 is provided with a totalizing part 8 for totalizing the utilization conditions of services and reloading a service correspondence table 7, a selecting part 10 for selecting the service matched with received selection conditions out of the contents of the service correspondence table 7 at the totalizing part 8, and an answer transmitting part 11 for extracting a service address selected by the selecting part 10 from an address DB 9 and transmitting it to the user terminal 3. Besides, each user terminal 3 is provided with a storage part 23 for storing a user data set 21 and selection conditions 22 of services and data transmission/reception parts 24 and 25.
