PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biodegradable nonwoven fabric, preferably a needle- punched felt, used for molding, comprising at least water-soluble fibers or the water-soluble fibers and biodegradable fibers, having excellent moldability, and capable of being easily degraded in soil. SOLUTION: This biodegradable nonwoven fabric, preferably a needle-punched felt, for molding comprises at least water-soluble fibers having heat-fusibility or biodegradable fibers such as polylactic acid fibers and the water-soluble fibers in a weight ratio of 5/95 to 40/60 and has a tensile strength maximum strength/minimum strength ratio of 1-1.4 on the elongation of 20% over prescribed directions on the surface of the nonwoven fabric. |
