PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy the demand for a blood pump apparatus of a sufficiently small size which is completely implanted together with related electronic parts and avoids the possibility of infections related percutaneous conductors. SOLUTION: The blood pump apparatus 10 can be implanted into the human chest in the state that the blood takes a flow passage from the apex of the left ventricle to the aorta ascendens. The blood pump apparatus 10 can be positioned in such a manner that the lung slightly presses the operation side of the blood pump apparatus. The blood pump apparatus 10 is made into the automatically flexing apparatus using the lung tissue and the need for a separate flexing chamber is eliminated by arranging the apparatus in the manner described above.
