PURPOSE:To provide the meshing method which express a line in a half tone with dots without damaging the reproducibility of drawings by dividing the line into fine line segments and generating the dot corresponding to the arbitrary half tone for each fine line segment. CONSTITUTION:The line is divided into the sets of fine line segments. The areas of the respective divided line segments are calculated and corresponding to the area and set dot density, dots are generated for each line segment and arranged. The division of line segments is performed with a suitable length while considering the reproduciveness of images and when the line is divided at the same degree as the width of the line, satisfactory dots can be generated. When the division of line segments is performed at the same defree as the line width, the line segments are turned to the sets of small rectangles. Therefore, since drawing information is made massive when the line is divided like this, the dots are calculated and arranged by using a computer. Thus, the line is continuously expressed without being interrupted by generating and arranging the dots for each divided line segment. |
