RF SIGNAL AMPLITUDE CONTROLLER FOR OPTICAL REPRODUCER

PURPOSE:To provide an RF signal amplitude controller of an optical reproducer for controlling an amplitude of an RF signal constantly by controlling an amount of an optical beam to be emitted from an optical pickup based on the amplitude of the signal. CONSTITUTION:A level difference between a peak signal of an RF signal to be output from an RF amplifier 5 and a bottom signal of the signal is detected by a level difference detector 8. An amplitude of the RF signal is maintained constantly by varying the amplitude of the signal to be output from the amplifier 5 by controlling an amount of the beam from an optical pickup 1 by a controller 10 based on the detected output of the detector 8.
