PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously and collectively transmit signals transmitted from plural broadcasting stations and to multiplex and transmit the transmission signals by using an existing optical transmission line or an optical receiver, even when a new broadcasting station is built. SOLUTION: In this multiple optical transmitter, which further multiplies and transmits plural FM signals that can be obtained by optical frequency modulating frequency multiple (FDM) signals different in frequency component, two light FM signals are multiplexed and transmitted by multiplexing two light FM signals out of the plural light FM signals 1d, 1e and 1f, optical detecting this multiplexed light, converting it into the first electric FM signal and converting this first electric FM signal 1h into a light intensity modulation signal 1g. Similarly, by repeating the optical detection, the light intensity modulation and combination, arbitrary number of optical FM signals are multiplexed. |
