PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrating gyro which can inhibit the leaking of vibration. SOLUTION: A vibrating gyro 10 includes a vibrator 12. The vibrator 12 includes a vibrating body 14 which is in the form of, e.g. an equilateral triangle pole. Piezoelectric elements 16a, 16b, 16c are formed on the three side faces of the vibrating body 14. U-shaped support members 18, 18 are mounted near the nodal point of the vibrator 12. The support members 18, 18 are supported by securing both ends to a rectangular mounting base 20 made from glass epoxy, etc. The mounting base 20 is held and fixed on the baseplate 36 of a base 34 at the nodal part of the vibration mode of the mounting base 20 which is produced by the vibration frequency of the vibrator 12. |
