PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve positioning accuracy at the time of intermittently feeding a film with a simple constitution by correcting an intermittent feeding signal based on deviation caused when the film is stopped at a specified position. SOLUTION: Position deviation of the frame of a motion picture film 4 from a specified position is plurally detected by electrostatic sensors 53 and 54 for each phase of sprockets for intermittent feeding 18 and 25 and the average value thereof is calculated by a position detection circuit 55, so that the correction amount dataΔD for each phase is obtained. By adding the correction amount dataΔD to a first regulation data before correction, a control part 56 generates intermittent feeding amount data D3 and D4 being a target value for accurately positioning the frame of the film 4 for each phase, and motors for intermittent feeding 22 and 31 are intermittently driven to be rotated based on the data. Thus, the frame of the film 4 is accurately positioned at a position where it is opposed to a gate 41.
