PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the optical path length constant without increasing the scale and to stabilize the machining quality of a laser beam machining device for performing two-or three-dimensional machining. SOLUTION: A device 20 for keeping the optical path length constant is installed between a laser generator 3 and a laser beam machine body 70. The machine body 70 is equipped with a machining head 4 freely movable in the prescribed X, Y and Z axis directions. The device 20 is provided with a first and a second reflection mirror 21, 22 placed on a first moving base and with a third and a fourth reflection mirrors 23, 24 placed on a second moving base. The first and the second moving bases are mounted freely movable on a guide rail extending in the X axis direction. The moving bases are moved to adjust the distance between the reflection mirrors 21-24 in such a manner as to absorb fluctuations of the optical path length caused by the movement of the machining head 4 on the machine body 70 side. |
