摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic latent image developing toner compsn. having a long running life without causing white dots in a solid image part. SOLUTION: This electrostatic charge image developing toner consists of at least a binder resin, a coloring agent and silica particles. When the toner particles are sifted with a sieve having 63μm mesh size, the amt. of a white powder remaining is <0.2 mg to 1 g of the toner. The residual amt. of the white powder to 1 g of the toner is <=0.2 mg, preferably <0.1 mg when the toner particles are sifted through a sieve with 63μm mesh size. If the residual amt. of the white powder exceeds 0.2 mg to 1 g of the toner, white dots are produced in a solid image part. It is supposed that when large particles of silica or the like added to improve the fluidity are present, the particles are charged into positive charges in a triboelectric process with toner particles or carrier particles and developed in an image part to produce white dots.</p>
