The invention concerns a thermoplastic composition including (a) a main polymer component derived from ethylene and optionally at least one higher alpha-olefin having MI of from 1 to 5; (b) from 1 to 45 % by weight of (a) + (b) of an auxiliary polymer component which is cocrystallisable with (a) derived of ethylene and at least one olefinically unsaturated comonomer, said component (b) having an MI which is from 0.5 to 4.5 MI units below that of (a) which responds rapidly to crosslinking.
