PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ash-melting furnace capable of discharging slag of molten ash stably with less load fluctuation by constitution capable of feeding ash continuously and stably from an ash-feeding inlet to a molten ash- discharging outlet in the ash-melting furnace. SOLUTION: In the ash-melting furnace 10 comprising an inclined furnace bottom 55, ash-feeding means provided on one end side of a furnace body and for forming an ash-feeding bed 59 by feeding ash 50 fallen from an ash-feeding inlet 54 to a top part of the furnace bottom 55 to a discharging outlet 57 along the furnace bottom 55, and a burner 52 for forming molten ash 25 by heating and melting the surface of the ash-feeding bed 59, the ash-melting furnace 10 comprises the ash-feeding means consisting of a screw feeder 11 capable of continuous feeding. |
