PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convey boards smoothly by surely preventing a thin board from entering between a belt and a retaining plate. SOLUTION: This belt is provided with a first projection 12 and a second projection 13 formed respectively on the lower and upper surfaces of a band body 11. It slides between the guide part 21 of a supporting frame 20 and a retaining plate 22. The first projection 12 slides in a guide groove 25 which is formed on the upper surface of the guide part 21, and the second projection 13 slides engaged with the notched part 26 of the retaining plate 22. A board 9 is conveyed, while its side end part 9a is placed on the band body 11. In this case, the side end part 9a thereof is prevented from entering in between the band body 11 and the retaining plate 22 by means of the second projection 13, so that the board 9 can be conveyed smoothly in a stable attitude. |
