PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the erroneous insertion of an IC card by allowing a user to sufficiently recognize the abnormality of an IC card due to the erroneous insertion of the IC card. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle equipment 1 is provided with a green LED 4 which is turned on while an IC card 7 is normally inserted, and a red LED 3 which is turned on or turned on/off until the IC card 7 is ejected when the IC card 7 is erroneously inserted or the IC card is defective and abnormal so that a user can be urged to eject the IC card 7. Moreover, a buzzer sound 32 is emitted synchronously with the red LED 3 so that the abnormal state can be positively transmitted to the user. In this case, an arrow mark 6 is printed under an IC card slot 2 so that the IC card 7 can be correctly inserted. |
