PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a foreign matter removing apparatus for raw laver enhancing the productivity, capable of securely removing foreign matters from raw laver in a short time and capable of continuously operating without interrupting the work. SOLUTION: This apparatus is installed with a screen liner 4 in the raw weed tank 1a into which raw weed is supplied with sea water or the like, two filter plates 5 and 6 overlapping on this screen liner 4, a rotor 7 having valve function and set on the slits 5b, 6b of the filer plates 5 and 6 to set the valve position slightly open in the raw weed tank preventing the foreign matters to enter and setting the valve position of the rotor 7 on widely open when the filter plates 5 and 6 rotate to the upward of the raw weed tank to remove the foreign matter blocking in the slits 5b and 6b by the ejecting sea water from a nozzle 14. |
