PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet takeout device wherein when a sample sheet is manually taken out, the hand can be prevented from contacting a sheet transfer device, in a simple and cost-effective manner. SOLUTION: A hand protection device 14 is provided for a sheet holding device 12 so that the device 14 can be moved into a sheet drop passage above a sheet pile 4 together with the device 12. The hand protection device 14 extends along a sheet stopper 7, between a sheet transfer device 2 and a hand working range, or along the forward edge of the pile 4 when a sample sheet is taken out. |
