PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a pump-driving motor to be operated at a capacity lower than that of a rated maximum by roughly 10-30% by setting a pressure set point to a value allowing cooling water of a specified water flow rate in a heat exchange-loading apparatus to flow to the heat exchange-loading apparatus. SOLUTION: In a cooling circuit of a closed cooling tower provided with at least a cooling coil 1, a pump 2, and a heat exchange-loading apparatus 3, pressure-detecting means 4 for detecting a differential pressure between an inlet pipe and a delivery pipe of the pump 2, pressure-controlling means 5 for comparing a pressure set point with a detected pressure value from the pressure- detecting means 4 and controlling the detected pressure value, and number of revolution of a motor-controlling means 7 for controlling number of revolution of a pump-driving motor 6 by receiving a control signal from the pressure- controlling means 5 are provided, wherein the pressure set point is set to a value allowing cooling water of a specified water rate for the heat exchange- loading apparatus 3 to flow in the heat exchange-loading apparatus 3. |
