PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top covering structure for an electronic piano with a reduced effective height while securing the rigidity. SOLUTION: A top cover 10 is set on a pair of arms 3 standing on both sides of a keyboard 1. A reinforcing member 11 is attached along the front edge part of the top cover 10 to enhance its rigidity. The reinforcing member 11 is obtained by bending and forming a metallic plate and has an approximately rectangular section and has a blind member 12 added in the end part. A keyboard cover 2 is provided which is freely slidably supported so as to be moved forward and backward above the keyboard 1, and this keyboard cover 2 is housed under the top cover 10. Since the rigidity of the top cover 10 is enhanced, it is made thin to reduce its height and the height of the piano main body. The top cover 10 is made thin to practically reduce the material cost. |
