PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a game machine for quickly executing repeated conversion/ decoding based on a plotting command or data loaded from a storage medium. SOLUTION: A plotting command, fractal conversion parameters, or data loaded from a storage medium 24 are stored in a main memory 21, and repeated conversion/decoding of a plotted texture developed in a VRAM 23 is operated by a graphics processing part 22 according to the plotting command or the fractal conversion parameters transferred under the control of a CPU 20. The generated texture is displayed on a CRT 32 of a graphics display part. Thus, the repeated conversion/decoding of the texture can be quickly attained, and a restored image with high quality can be obtained while the repeated conversion/decoding in which calculation amounts are significantly reduced is realized. |
