PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller which can rotate a reluctance motor with high efficiency. SOLUTION: This controller is provided with a saturation current map 51 which stores a current value which changes depending on the angle of a rotor, and in which a stator salient pole reaches magnetic flux saturation by each angle of the rotor, a command current value generating part 52 which a current value commanded to rotate the rotor with the saturation current map 51, and reducing a command current value to a saturated current value in the part, in which the commanded current value exceeds the saturated current value, and an exciting angle computing part 54 which obtains such an exciting-finish angle that permits the current which generates magnetic force rotating the rotor in a reverse direction so as not to allow flow through the stator salient pole, when the current which exceeds a current value so as to generate magnetic force rotating the rotor in the reverse direction flows through the stator salient pole, when the rotor is at a linear position to the rotor salient pole. |
