POLYOLEFIN-BASED RESIN COMPOSITION AND WOOD MEAL TO BE USED THEREIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of giving a molded product improved in mechanical strength such as flexural strength and having wood feeling. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by compounding 100 pts.wt. of a resin composed of (a) 70-97.5 wt.% of a polyolefin-based resin and (b) 30-2.5 wt.% of a carboxylic acid-modified polyolefin with 5-150 pts.wt. of wood meal 50-500μm in average particle size which is previously surface-treated with a maleinized polyolefin.
