<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar apparatus in which the processing condition of an echo signal regarding an arbitrarily designated specific region out of regions to be observed can be changed without affecting a display state, regarding the regions to be observed excluding the specific region. SOLUTION: Whether a position to be observed by a scanning part 21 is within a specific range designated by a specific-range designating means 34 is judged by a judging means 35. While the position to be measured is outside the specific range, an echo-signal processing circuit 26 amplifies, STC-processes and SFC-processes an echo signal under a condition which is set by a first condition setting means 30. While the position to be observed is within the specific range, the echo-signal processing part 26 is changed over so as to amplify, STC-process and FTC-process the echo signal under a condition which is set by a second condition setting means 31. At this time, its STC processing operation is performed in such a way that an amplification degree with reference to the echo signal becomes lower as the distance becomes neared. In addition, the FTC processing operation is performed to remove a noise due to the jamming radio waves of continuous waves or due to the reflection of rain, snow or the like.</p> |
