<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expandable stent system flexibly varying in the axial direction. SOLUTION: The stent 101 flexible in the axial direction is provided with an axis in the longitudinal direction and consists of plural bands arranged in the longitudinal direction in its desirable executing form, and the respective bands demarcate a nearly continuous waveform along linear segments parallel with the longitudinal axis. Plural links maintain the bands to be tube-like structure. Each band arranged in the longitudinal direction of the stent is connected to an adjacent band through a link in the direction of short outer periphery at plural periodical positions. In addition, a pair of branched stents are opened and shown.</p> |
