<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus in which information on a change in the state of a buried object such as a gas pipe, a water pipe, a sewage pipe or the like can be acquired on the ground in real time and with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The state (the vibration, the extension amount, the in-pipe pressure or the like) of an underground buried pipe 2 is detected by a sensor provided at a radio tag 3 attached to the buried pipe 2. Digital data on the detected state is stored at the inside of the radio tag 3. When electromagnetic waves indicating a data request are transmitted to the radio tag 3 from a reader 1, a response to the electromagnetic waves at the radio tag 3 corresponding to the digital data is detected by the reader 1. Information on the state (the vibration, the extension amount, the in-pipe pressure or the like) of the buried pipe 2 is acquired. On the basis of the acquired information on the vibration, whether water is leaked or not at the buried pipe 2 is judged. On the basis of the acquired extension amount, the intensity of the buried pipe 2 is diagnosed.</p> |
