<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy efficiency of a vehicle, in a compressor for a vehicle air conditioner, interposed in its refrigerating cycle to compress refrigerant gas. SOLUTION: This compressor is provided with a motor part 2 driven by a battery B of a vehicle. A compression part 3 the rotary main shaft 30 of which is selectively rotated to compress refrigerant gas is provided in one of two drive sources of this motor part 2 and an engine E of the vehicle. A speed reduction part 4 reducing rotation of a motor shaft 20 of the motor part 2 and transmitting it to the rotary main shaft 30 of the compression part 3 is provided. A control part 5 suitably selecting either of the engine E or the motor part 2 as the drive source of the compression part 3 is provided.</p> |
