PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger, attached to a water-cooled internal combustion engine directly or through a mounting member. SOLUTION: A heat exchanger is constituted of heat radiating units 13, 14 as well as a pair of tanks 11, 12, provided at both ends of the heat radiating units 13, 14, and is attached directly to an internal combustion engine 1. In such a heat exchanger, sheet type heat radiating fins 13, through which true- circular cylindrical cooling water tubes 14 are penetrated, are fixed to the cooling water tubes 14 with an interval in the axial direction of the tubes 14 whereby the heat radiating units 13, 14 are constituted. All of the heat radiating units are made of an aluminum alloy and both ends 14a of the true-circular cylindrical cooling water tubes 14, penetrated through the opposing inner walls 11a, 12a of the cooling water tanks 11, 12, are folded back into the expanding direction of the tubes while the connecting parts and fitting parts between the heat radiating fins 13 and the true-circular cylindrical cooling water tubes 14 are brazed. |
