PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesion mixture for tightly fixing a dental filling material to a dentine and an enamel. SOLUTION: This method for fixing a dental filling material having bond strength comprises using a mixture composed of (i) 10-90 pts.wt. of at least one single or repeated ethylenically unsaturated phosphoric ester, (ii) 5-85 pts.wt. of a solvent, (iii) 0.01-5 pts.wt. of an initiator capable of forming a free radical and (iv) 0-10 pts.wt. of an ordinary auxiliary and additive. Immediately after the mixture is applied to a hard tooth substance, coating is carried out by using a polymerizable filling material. When the mixture is applied to a hard tooth material in a certain process and immediately the polymerizable filling material is applied without using another aftertreatment different from a conventional method, a merit of obtaining adhesion bond equal to that of a conventional case is obtained.
