The invention relates to processes and installations for the manufacture of products consisting of fibres and hydraulic binder in which, in the process, a mixture of a fibre phase and a binder phase is produced and said mixture is applied in the pneumatic conveying process on an air-permeable circulating conveyor belt (3) to form a layer (4) and in which, during its time on the conveyor belt, the layer is subjected to a densification and moistening cycle (5). The main feature of the process of the invention is that the mixture is processed into a moist mass before its transfer to the conveyor belt (3) and said moist mass is scattered directly on the moving conveyor belt (3) by means of the pneumatic conveying process to form a layer (4), it is densified during its movement on the conveyor belt (3) downstream of the scattering region, additional water (8) in at least the quantity needed for making the product is applied to said layer after or during its densification and, after the addition of the extra water, said layer is wound in several layers on a winding or format roller (9). |
