Applicable preferably to false ceilings consisting of plates 1 which are supported on a framework 2 which has means for fastening it to the ceiling, the diffuser having at least one loudspeaker 3 connected to sound- reproduction equipment for the emission of music and/or messages in an enclosed space. It is characterized in that it has means 4 for locating the loudspeaker in the space included between the false ceiling and the ceiling, the membrane of the loudspeaker forming an acute angle with respect to the vertical, the field of action or volume emitted by the loudspeaker being considerably increased. It has means 5 for concealing the means 4 which in addition allow the exit of sound to the enclosed space or place where it is installed. The means 5 are defined by a perforated sheet. The means 4 consist of a casing which means that the sound in the rear zone of the loudspeaker will be much less than in the front zone, insulation being facilitated. <IMAGE>
