<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an engine controller for making the control amount proper according to transmissions through a process of immediately judging the kinds of the transmissions to be combined just after the engine is started. CONSTITUTION:Electrification to a magnet coil 52 from a battery power supply 50 is performed through a series circuit composed of a starter switch 51 and a neutral switch 53 in the case of an automatic transmission, while it is performed through only the starter switch in the case of a manual transmission, so as to detect the voltage on the battery power supply side of the magnet coil as a starter signal ST. And the voltage on a junction of the starter switch with the netural switch is detected as a neutral signal NT in the case of the automatic transmission, while earth voltage is detected in the case of the manual transmission. When a starter signal shows the operation, the engine controller judges the manual transmission when the neutral signal is the earth voltage, while it judges the automatic transmission when the neutral signal is not the earth voltage.</p> |
