Belt or band conveyor for transporting bulk materials or separate articles

The conveyor has a trough-shaped cross-section and a loading zone supported by a cradle made from a series of transverse horizontal (IT) and oblique (IO) impact bars. The cradle has a base of a resilient material inside its concave surface, covered by a more rigid layer of a smooth material for the belt or bands of the conveyor to run on. Above the cradle there are side panels which make a sealed contact with the conveyor belt.
