<p>PURPOSE:To lessen the deformation resistance of a material and to improve workability in a flanging section as the temp. of the quinary blank of an unequal thickness working section rises up to a hot region by continuously working the blank from a cutting section to an unequal thickness working section. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus consists of a fixed machine bed 2 and a moving ram 3 which is arranged to face this machine bed and moves forward and backward of the machine bed 2. The apparatus is successively and continuously juxtaposed with a cutting section, an end face working section 5, a first blind hole working section 6, a second blind hole working section 7, a bulging section 8, an unequal thickness working section 9 and a flanging section 10, by which a multistage type former is constituted. Cylindrical parts maintained with the continuous state of fiber flow are formed on both end sides of a primary blank by the first and second blind hole working sections 6, 7 and the fiber flow is maintained in nearly the straight state by the bulging section 8. A taper surface which hardly generates plastic flow is formed in the intermediate bulging part. The intermediate bulging part is unequally bulged in one direction by the unequal thickness working section 9 and is shifted into the warm region by the flanging section 10, by which the blank is molded while the deformation resistance thereof is reduced.</p> |
