PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compact the driving means of a sunlight tracking device provided with a unit supporting frame to which a solar energy collecting unit is attached and which can turn around a vertical axis by reducing the weight of a mobile section as much as possible. SOLUTION: An upper first bearing 69 and a lower second bearing 70 are interposed between a gear case 52 to which a unit supporting frame is attached and a spindle 68 which is vertically thrust in the gear case 52 on the top side so that the spindle 68 may support the gear case 52 in such a state that the case 52 can turn around the vertical axis of the spindle 68. In the gear case 52, a reducing gear train 75 which is provided between a fixed gear 82 fixed to the spindle 68 between the first and second bearings 69 and 70 and a motor is housed. |
