PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize the time capable of battery driving even in a suspend state in a portable personal computer. SOLUTION: When a switch 103 is inputted by a user, a microprocessor 102 detects the input, and a time capable of battery driving in a suspend state and a time capable of battery driving when the suspend state is changed to an on-state which is measured by the microprocessor 102 is displayed on a display panel 101.
