PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the range of frequency of radio waves to be detected by preparing an approximately plate-like magnetic material and a capacitor connected to both the ends of a coil, wound around the outer periphery of the magnetic material to form an electric resonance structure and storing the electric resonance structure in a sealed storing body consisting of a non-metal. SOLUTION: This electric resonance discriminator is provided with a coil 2 for generating inherent electric resonance, a capacitor 3 and an approximately plate-like magnetic material 1 for concentrically selecting and amplifying the high frequency magnetic flux of challenge electromagnetic waves. The discriminator is stored in a sealed storing body 4 for preventing in from deterioration. Since the coil 2 is wound around the magnetic material 1, the high frequency magnetic flux of challenge electromagnetic wave can be concentrically selected and amplified. Since the power of challenge electromagnetic waves can be stored in the capacitor 3 for a short time, electric resonance can be maintained for a short time even when transmission is stopped and electromagnetic waves are continuously emitted during the period. Consequently electric resonance can be detected without being influenced by transmitting electromagnetic waves.
