PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure slight ordinary color turbidity, to prevent color turbidity after preservation in a high humidity atmosphere and to attain good adhesion by specifying the electron donative property of a high b.p. org. solvent and the solubility of water in the solvent. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains a high b.p. org. solvent and a reducing compd. TheΔνp value of the solvent showing its electron donative property is 90-160, preferably 95-150, further preferably 100-140. when theΔνp value is <90, color turbidity is not sufficiently prevented at high humidity. In the case of >160, the color turbidity preventing effect is lowered. The solubility of water in the solvent is 0-1.2 wt.%, preferably 0-0.8 wt.% because even the solvent having high electron donative property lowers its color turbidity preventing effect in a high humidity atmosphere if the solubility of water in the solvent exceeds 1.2 wt.%.
