<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a binder resin excellent in offset resistance, low temp. fixing property or the like with which images having stable of high quality can be formed for a long time by constituting the resin of a matrix resin by specified pts.wt. and wax fine particles having a specified max. particle size by specified pts.wt. SOLUTION: The binder resin consists of 95 to 70 pts.wt. of a matrix resin and 5 to 30 pts.wt. of wax fine particles having >=20μm max. particle size. The matrix resin in which the wax fine particles are dispersed consists of a low mol.wt. ethylene-based polymer component and a high mol.wt. ethylene- based polymer component, and as a whole the matrix resin contains styrene monomers and (meth)acrylic acid and acrylate and/or (meth)acrylic acid as the structural units of the polymer components. As for the proportions of the polymer components, preferably the low mol.wt. ethylene-based polymer is compounded by 90 to 50 wt.% and the high mol.wt. ethylene-based polymer is compounded by 10 to 50 wt.%. Preferably, the proportion of the styrene monomer component is preferably controlled to 60 to 95 wt.%, and the proportion of the (meth)acrylic acid ester monomers is controlled to by 5 to 40 wt.%.</p> |
