<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp which will not have the boundary of a photocatalyst film forming part appear, has good appearance, has a photocatalyst film, and a manufacturing method of the lamp. SOLUTION: This fluorescent lamp has a tubular bulb 1 in which a phosphor layer 7 is formed on the inner surface, and an electrode is sealed at each end, a base 9 fixed to the end of the bulb 1, and a photocatalyst film 6 formed on the bulb outer surface and in the bulb portion covered with the base 9. Since the photocatalyst film is formed over the entire bulb 1 outer surface, the boundary between the photocatalyst formed part and a non-formed part is not developed, and there is no possibility of the appearance at lighting of the lamp being spoiled.</p> |
