摘要 PURPOSE:To provide seizure resistance and conformability of a bearing more excellent than in the past by applying an annular groove to a bearing alloy layer, forming this section wavy, and setting a relation between height of this mountain part and thickness of an adjacent intermediate layer to a specific range. CONSTITUTION:In a slide bearing 1, a bearing alloy layer 2 is provided on a back plate, and a helical annular groove 2a is formed along a circumferential direction, to form a ridge, prepared by the annular groove 2a adjacent in the axial direction, as a mountain part 2b. This mountain part is covered with an intermediate layer 3, further to superpose an overlay layer 4. At the time of actual use, in the case that partly the overlay layer 4 and intermediate layer 3 are worn from a surface side of the overlay layer 4, as shown by a vertual line L in the drawing, the overlay layer 4, intermediate layer 3 and the mountain part 2a of the bearing alloy layer 2 are respectively exposed. Here, when assumed (h) for height of the mountain part 2b and (t) for thickness of the intermediate layer 3, a conditional formula of relation where 1<=h<=5, t<=h/2, obtaining excellent performance in the point of seizure resistance and conformability, is provided. (unit of t, h is mum, pitch of annular groove 2a is 0.2mm).
