PURPOSE:To provide an injection-molded article of metal or ceramic powder free from flaws without generation of defects such as deformation, crack or swelling or the like of a molded body. CONSTITUTION:When a molded body obtd. by injection-molding a mixture of powder for sintering with an org. binder is dewaxed and sintered to produce an injection-molded article of powder, a photosensitive resin is used as at least one component of the org. binder. Part of the binder is degraded or cured by irradiation with light and removed by extraction with a proper solvent and then the remainder is thermally decomposed and removed. Since most of the binder can be removed at a temp. below the softening temp. of the binder and the org. binder can surely be removed from the surface of the molded body without deforming, cracking or swelling and the objective injection-molded article of powder free from deformation, cracks and swell is produced. |
